Η ομάδα «Puppet Therapy – ΠΕΚ/ΑμεΑ» που αποτελείται από 10 ενήλικες με νοητική αναπηρία και 2 επαγγελματίες συνδημιούργησε ένα μικρού μήκους κουκλοθεατρικό έργο σε μορφή βίντεο, όπου μέσα από τη σύνθεση και εναλλαγή εικόνων αφηγείται «Τι είναι ο Πειραιάς μέσα από τα μάτια μας;» για να τιμήσει με τον δικό της μοναδικό τρόπο την πόλη του Πειραιά. Με πολλή δημιουργικότητα, φαντασία και έρευνα η ομάδα επινόησε μία ιστορία, σκαρφίστηκε χαρακτήρες, και κατασκεύασε σκηνικά και φιγούρες δύο διαστάσεων εμπνευσμένα από το θέατρο σκιών. Τέλος, επένδυσε το έργο με μουσική και ήχους και το βιντεοσκόπησε για να συμμετάσχει στις «Ημέρες Θάλασσας 2024" στον Πειραιά. Η ομάδα "Puppet Therapy - ΠΕΚ/ΑμεΑ" λειτουργεί εβδομαδιαίως στο πλαίσιο του προγράμματος του Κέντρου Διημέρευσης Ημερήσιας Φροντίδας για Ενήλικες με Νοητική Αναπηρία ΠΕΚ/ΑμεΑ, με στόχο την προσωπική και συναισθηματική έκφραση, την επίλυση προβλημάτων και την δημιουργία μέσω της εμψύχωσης κούκλας
